On Tuesday, April 12, at 5:30pm staff will be holding an open meeting at City Hall Council Chambers for community members and community organizations interested in assisting with cleanups in the city.  The objective of the meeting is to achieve a more organized approach for voluntary cleanup.

With regard to this we hope to address the following:

• Identify cleanup areas of focus
• Discuss Downtown Beautification Ideas
• Determine best dates and times for organizations who want to pitch-in
• Coordinate Efforts with Free Dumpsters (at least May 7 and May 14)
• Channel individual efforts (into groups or coordinated with staff)
• Describe the City Cleanup process – Warnings, Citations, Billing
• Coordinate staff efforts with volunteer efforts
