How Will Traffic Be Impacted:
For convenience and to cause minimum disruption to the residents of Muskegon Heights, the project has been
constructed in three phases. This is the final phase of the project.
- Broadway Avenue will be closed to thru traffic at Glade Street and at 5th Street
- Broadway Avenue access will be closed off to all side streets except Temple Street and 6th Street
- The posted detour for Broadway will run along Glade Street to Summit Avenue to Peck Street to Broadway
- During construction, when driveways are inaccessible, we encourage residents to park on side streets.
- Traffic to businesses and residents will be maintained utilizing side streets and alleys.
- Pedestrian traffic will be detoured as necessary.
