What Is Being Done?
- Construction activities on Hackley Avenue:
- Full-depth road reconstruction
- Sidewalk intersections to be brought up to ADA compliance.
- Road to be re-striped.
- Crosswalk markings to be added to intersections.
- How Will Traffic be Impacted:
- Construction will close traffic to Hackley Avenue, between Manz Street and Elwood Street:
- All eastbound and westbound traffic will detour north to E. Delano Avenue.
- During construction, residents are encouraged to park on side streets when driveways are inaccessible.
- Traffic to businesses and residents will be maintained utilizing side streets and alleys.
- Pedestrian traffic will be detoured as necessary during construction.
