Bid Proposal Instructions
The City of Muskegon Heights is currently accepting sealed bids for the purchase of 2024 Tax-Foreclosed Properties.
A list of the properties is included in this package
Sealed Bid Acceptance: Tuesday, October 22, 2024 @9:00 a.m. through Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 @11:59 a.m.
Bid Opening: Sealed Bids will be opened on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at the Building and Lands Committee Meeting.
Bids submitted prior to the sealed bid acceptance period will not be accepted.
Any sealed bid envelopes that appear to be altered will not be accepted.
All bids must be sealed and submitted to the Muskegon Heights City Manager’s Office.
All bid forms must be completely filled out to be eligible for bid consideration.
Please submit within the sealed envelope the Sealed Bid Proposal Form and Copy of Valid ID.
Bidders should review City of Muskegon Heights Procedural Guidelines for the Sale of City owned Property and the Foreclosed Properties Administrative Policy included in this package.
Successful bidders will be required to pay the bid amount via a cashier’s check at closing and obtain any required building permit(s) within thirty (30) days from closing.
Bidders will not be allowed to inspect the interior of the properties due to liability concerns.
Exterior examinations are permitted during the hours of 7:00 am EST to 7:00 pm EST.
Successful bidders will be notified using the contact information provided on their proposal form once the full council has approved and finalized their decision regarding the awarded bids.
